About Our Fresh Spirulina - ALPHYCA FRESH

  1. What is ALPHYCA FRESH Spirulina?
    ALPHYCA FRESH is a synergistic live superfood made from pure, raw, and unprocessed fresh Spirulina, delivered to your door within 48 hours of harvest, ensuring maximum freshness and bioavailability.
    It is a powerful nutritional and bioactive support that delivers an abundance of valuable nutrients in their most potent form.

  2. Where is the Spirulina sourced from?
    We use several strains of Spirulina Platensis sourced from algae banks in the US, France, and Spain. Currently, we work with a strain from the US.

  3. Is the Spirulina organically grown?
    We prefer to use all-natural methods of cultivation instead of organic methods. This is mainly because organically grown cultures tend to have high microbiological contamination due to the use of specific organic nutrient sources. Instead, we use all-natural nutrients commonly used in food manufacturing, such as baking soda, sea salt, and citric acid.

  4. What methods are used to ensure the purity of the Spirulina?
    We are one of the very few operators in the world that cultivate Spirulina in closed high-tech systems of photobioreactors, allowing us to control every important parameter for the growth of the culture. We use a four-step process of filtration and disinfection of the water in our system. Additionally, we conduct weekly spectrophotometric analysis and daily manual monitoring of the culture, including microscopic examination and pH monitoring.

Production Process

  1. What is the production process like?
    - Upstream:
    Cultivation in photobioreactors.
    - Downstream Harvesting: Dewatering starts between 5:30-6:00 am.
    - Washing: Four-step washing with purified water.
    - Dewatering and Pressing: Extracting water without damaging cells.
    - Packing and Cooling: Gentle packing and cooling.
    - Transport: Handled to DHL by 3:00 pm for next-day delivery.

  2. Do you have any certifications?
    We implement HACCP and GMP quality control systems and conduct third-party lab microbiological tests three times a year.

  1. How do I request a refund?

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged.
    We will evaluate the issue and make it right ASAP.

  3. How long does it take to receive a refund?
    When a refund is initiated, we will notify you if it has been approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
